Police searching for a man reported missing after vanishing overnight from a Borders village say he may have travelled by public transport. Alexander Gordon Stewart was last seen at around 4.30pm on Friday in the Galashiels area, but has failed to make contact with concerned loved ones.
He was last known to be wearing a navy blue jumper, a brown jacket and brown shoes. Anyone who believes they have seen Gordon is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. “He is described as being white, 5ft 5in tall, of average build, with short dyed black hair which is receding and a tanned complexion.
