They'd be awesome at jungle wafare. Humephants could carry their stuff & you'd only have to pay them peanuts. Initially my thought was why not just grow from stem cells without an animal surrogate but people have been using animals with no ethical qualms for ages as nourishment. Additionally you don't find many animals in the penitentiary and it's a pretty open ended question as to whether animals or humans have greater moral capacity so that must prove problematic to ethical purists lol but to save a life it's a pretty invalid argument
