A MISSING autistic girl has been found dead in a river in Germany after a desperate week-long search.

Her body was found in a weir on the river Ruhr, which runs close to the family home, on Sunday morning, cops said.Lia had run out of the flat barefoot when her parents were not looking - sparking a mass police search.
