Sadly they seemed to miss the brief and what is left is a caricature of the main character with a far weaker storyline which descends into a farcical rather than dramatic ending.The stage soundtrack is fair but Holy Mary Mother of God if you are going to pitch in a soap star as Mother Superior at least make sure she can sing the songs.
Shrieking every line is tiresome. More light and shade is urgently required but perhaps this is more down to poor direction than a reflection of her abilities.
