A bison charged into a British teenager, gored her leg with its horn, threw her up into the air and left her paralysed during a holiday walk

Amelia Dean was charged by the enormous animal during a hike in South Dakota, which ripped into her thigh with its horn and sent her flying 15 feet into the air before her friend rescued her.

Amelia, nicknamed Mia, has been accepted to Edinburgh University and planned to start in September after a year out. She was coming towards the end of her gap year when the attack happened. Amelia was frozen with shock and the bison ploughed into her, goring her thigh and throwing her into the air.Four Vietnamese migrants feared dead named by police after human remains found inside scorched mill

"Mia will need a least one operation to have a chance at regaining full motion, and Rapid City Hospital, despite their amazing work on Mia's injury does not have the expertise nor equipment to properly examine and treat the nerve injury."

US to probe claims Sikh turbans taken at border with MexicoBorder Patrol officers have been accused of confiscating the turbans of dozens of Sikh asylum seekers. Getting in before the nonsense posts - a turban is a key tenet of the Sikh faith. Sikh men who are baptised are required to keep their hair uncut and wear the turban. Many Sikhs who aren’t baptised also wear the turban as a symbol of their faith. It’s not a hat or a scarf. What is wrong with the sick turbans? What the heck are people from the Punjab region in India doing on the US border? They have literally traveled from the Asian, to the American continent. An obvious example of an economic migrant masquerading as a legitimate asylum candidate! Tolerate this and encourage more.

Lol, sure, and now try to quadruple the power capacity. Because the transition isn't simply making our electricity renewable, but to phase out fuel / gas / diesel by replacing it with electricity. And no, the grid ain't quite ready for that. Not even close.
