Thousands of people have died before being able to access welfare payments, charities say

Charities have called on the government to speed up a promised review of welfare support for terminally ill patients after it emerged that 2,000 people have died over the past six months while waiting for benefit payments.

DWP a disgrace ,there's no urgency because they quite simply don't care

6 months on, nothing seems 2 be happening. Too many worries and I'm sure BJ won't fault such. Hopefully, our govt knows her onus in spite of her seemingly dilly-dally approach. Shouldn't there be a respite that our govt is working round the clock to get the PIP benefits amended?

Should also fo this for the severely mentally I'll too.
