Millwall manager Neil Harris is brimming with confidence ahead of his side's trip to Elland Road next weekend, with the Lions' boss saying his side have earned the right to play with freedom against the Whites.
Asked if he could sleep easier with the gap now standing at five points and things looking much more promising for his team, Harris said: “I don’t sleep very well after games, so I don’t think I’ll be sleeping easy. But it is a nicer cushion to have, isn’t it? It gives us a little bit of freedom going to Elland Road next week."
The Lions were 1-0 victors over Birmingham City at the weekend and look a much improved side under Harris, but playing with freedom and with the pressure eased is one thing, trying to be the first side to beat the Whites at Elland Road this season and claim a league victory in 2024 is another.
