A new Copilot+ feature is being described as a 'goldmine' for criminals, after the Information Commissioner's Office confirmed it is investigating Microsoft's updated software.

A new Microsoft feature that screenshots users' laptops every two seconds is being investigated by the Information Commissioner's Office . The Recall feature will be installed on new Microsoft laptops and is part of their artificial intelligence programme Copilot+. The feature will record everything a user does by taking screenshots every few seconds. It then allows the user to scroll back through their activity and search.
