Intermittent fasting has become increasingly popular in recent years.

Two well-known health experts have shared their secrets to make one weight loss diet produce results.

Professor Spector, co-founder of the ZOE Nutrition project aiming to help people live healthier lives, explained why fasting doesn't work for everyone - and how you can make it work for you. The professor said he follows one particular rhythm, fasting for 10 hours a day from around 10.30am or 11am, after he has exercised, Surrey Live reports.

It is good news for anyone planning a holiday as Professor Spector says you can break the rules. He said: "Occasionally, you know, I might be in France and there’s an incredible breakfast buffet and I’m saying, ‘Oh, really?
