Michael Gove has accused Brussels of refusing to negotiate a new Brexit deal, claiming the UK is seeking further talks “in a spirit of friendliness” despite repeated warnings from Boris Johnson that the UK is ready to crash out of the EU come what may.
Why should they? They are not the one asking for an exit.

What the 'UK' says it wants is so full of contradictions, that it cannot be delivered. Gove isn't even able to specify what he wants! Hardly the EU's job to save him from being in a pickle. If he rather not leave, let him dare say so. Or is he perhaps a whimp?

Regardless of your preference the deal negotiated by TM could not be ratified. So its incumbent on those with a stake in ensuring an orderly brexit to try & ensure a deal is reached that can be. Given the EU's refusal to repoen the WA, Goves statement seems lacking in controversy

The EU want us to stay so do many MPs what they are trying to do is engineer another referendum by giving us the worse deal possible with a constitutional crisis if we accept it, all part of the remain strategy
