Met Office forecasters predict today will be a largely sunny and dry day in our region with some cloudy intervals. It will feel mild as the mercury climbs through the afternoon, reaching 20C by around 4pm.
Tomorrow is set to feel even warmer as temperatures reach highs of around 23C in the late afternoon. Forecasters predict it will be another cloudy day with sunny intervals into the early evening.On Saturday and Sunday in Greater Manchester, highs of around 22C are expected with more dry conditions and sunny intervals predicted. On the overall forecast for the UK over the coming days, the Met Office said 'high pressure will dominate' causing temperatures to rise.
A statement on the Met Office website said: "The weather will continue to warm up over the next few days, with bright and sunny conditions for many. High pressure is set to dominate, with temperatures continuing to rise. "Highs of 24C are possible tomorrow and could reach up to 26C in the south on Saturday. Although the majority of the UK will enjoy this fine weather, showers and more unsettled conditions are likely in the far north and northwest."
The Met Office said UV and pollen levels will also increase over the coming days, will people urged to take care in the sun.Read more of today's top stories here
