Met Office Liverpool weather forecast as temperatures to plummet

The Met Office has warned it is about to feel "chillier" as temperatures are expected to plummet overnight in Liverpool.

While today has seen highs of 15C, it is set to drop to 5C after darkness falls. Its forecast added: "After a showery day, it will be much drier this evening with clear spells overnight with some patchy cloud moving in by dawn. Breezy overnight". Sunday, April 14, is predicted to be dry to begin with, before "blustery showers" soon put in an appearance. We can expect highs of 12C that feel more like 9C, and lows of 6C - with a real feel of 4C. Looking ahead to the new week, the Met Office outlook for Monday to Wednesday in full reads: "Sunny spells and blustery showers on Monday, these occasionally heavy with hail and some hill snow. "Drier from Tuesday though the odd shower still possible. Feeling chillier than of late."
