Heavy rain is expected to batter parts of the UK this week with the Met Office issuing weather warning.
From 8am today, the southwest of England, Exeter, Truro, and Plymouth are expected to be hit by heavy rain conditions. The warning, which is in place until 11.59pm tonight, also warns of potential flooding for homes and businesses Devon and Cornwall will also be hit by this warning, with between 20-30mm of rain expected to fall across the wider area and as much as 40-50mm of rain over some hills. Despite this, the Met Office highlighted that conditions would "likely improve" throughout the afternoon in Cornwall.
The final warning will hit parts of Northern Ireland today and will once again caution of heavy rainfall, mainly affecting eastern parts of the region. Fortunately, the warning will only remain until Tuesday morning.
