I am German and Mercedes is not a German Team for me all. Nothing in the car and the Team is German except for the name. Germans have to put their hope into audi, who will build the engines in Germany and the car in switzerland, which has a lot of German speakers. tbh, there's almost no support, as Mercedes practically just pays the bill from the team in the UK. A german driver is the only thing that would change that It‘s a fully British team without any German influence besides the brand. The only thing, which is important to Germans at Mercedes is Mick.
