🗣️'Second or third in the constructors' world championship is not so relevant compared to really racing and being at the front.' Overhauling Ferrari for second in the F1 constructors standings matters less to Toto Wolff than Mercedes winning races again:

The German manufacturer appears to have turned the corner on its early campaign troubles as it bagged a second double podium finish in a row at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Instead, he says that of greater importance to him is the ability for Mercedes to take another performance step and start delivering race wins on pace.“For me personally, whether second or third in the constructors' world championship is not so relevant compared to really racing and being at the front and developing the car so we can win races on merit.

But Wolff, again, says that being among the frontrunners is not something that his team wants – it is about being in front.“I would have rather had more wins and less podiums,” he said.

**I would have rather had more wins and less podiums, he said.** No doubt this just goes to remind the fans that there is no such thing as too much of a good thing hence why the rich refuse to retire

**For me personally, whether second or third in the constructors' world championship is not so relevant compared to really racing** I mean only a person that has been to the FIA prize giving ceremony knows there is no trophy for 2nd place in the constructor's title

**Second, first loser,” he said, when asked about the chances of now beating Ferrari this season.** Oh yes, only people that have won 8 consecutive championships know that second place is just a bride's maid hence the immortal quote... Mikey that is so not right

Yes, good luck to Wolff to winning races without the dream team whilst flying the number 13 flag. All this with a pensioner who has hit 300 grand prix and a rookie without a win under his belt. Couldn't ask for a better combination. All or nothing lads

Merc will be second. Toto should not worry and send gift to Mattia for some brilliant tactic he will do the next race, and the next, and the next…
