A memorial is to be held for missing Scots RAF gunner Corrie McKeague at his former base today, his family has said.
An inquest earlier this year found that the young Scot died after being crushed by a bin lorry after climbing into a bin owned by the waste management company Biffa. Jurors concluded that Corrie died as a result of "compression asphyxia' at around 4.20 am on the night of his disappearance. Nicola wrote on Facebook: "The Royal Air Force are holding a military memorial for corrie for us. I will never be able to thank the RAF for all they have done and tried to do for us, for all they did for Corrie.
