Leeds' Mel B stunned by 'racism' discovery in new BBC show Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip

Spice Girl Mel B has been left stunned after visiting an American state where she was left questioning “is there anybody brown, or mixed, or black in this town"?

In the programme, they re-trace the footsteps of Yorkshire-born and intrepid Victorian explorer, Isabella Bird, and pay homage to the forgotten pioneer. On her journey through middle America, Mel, 47, claims that she believed incidents of racism had dwindled but her “outlook changed” after a trip to Colorado, which is predominantly white with a Caucasian population of 61.6 per cent. There she met two sisters who were champions in lasso but had to fight harder for their position
