A Co Down couple will be among millions tuning in for the final ever episode of Neighbours on Friday night.
Gareth told Belfast Live : "Karen is the ultimate Neighbours fan and she absolutely adores the show. Over the past 11 years since we've been together she has turned me into a big fan too. When we first met she told me that I had to watch Neighbours with her so that's how she roped me in. "At our wedding in October 2021 at Orange Tree House in Greyabbey, we also had a life size Paul Robinson welcoming guests. One of the presents gifted to us was a number plate which symbolises Neighbours too.
The antepenultimate Neighbours episode will be broadcast in the usual time slots of 1:45pm and 6pm on Friday, July 29 with a final double episode special airing in the prime time slot of 9pm on the same evening. While Karen and Gareth have yet to visit the set in Melbourne, they already have their VIP tickets secured for Neighbours: The Farewell Tour, which kicks off in Belfast next March.
