CONOR MCGREGOR is being sued for more than £11,000 by the man whose phone he was accused of smashing.
Miami-Dade County court records showed that 22-year-old Ahmed Abdirzak filed a lawsuit on Thursday seeking in excess of $15,000 .Abdirzak accused 30-year-old MMA star McGregor of battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress., the Miami Beach Police Department said.
He said: "Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on. I love my fans dearly. Thank you all."Conor McGregor was released on bail after posting $12,500 bond Miami Beach police say McGregor was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach early Monday morning when Abdirzak attempted to take a picture of McGregor.Investigators say McGregor then grabbed the phone and left the area.McGregor's criminal defense attorney called the lawsuit "a quick effort seeking a payday."Topics
