It's been the same menu for quite some time - with kids having the option of a burger, nuggets, fish fingers or veggie dippers.As part of a 14-week trial starting from Wednesday, May 29, 187 restaurants across Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Yorkshire and the Republic of Ireland will be the first to try the four new menu items.
Next up are the Fish Bites, five bite-sized pollock pieces in a crisp panko breadcrumb coating and served with a choice of dip - either BBQ, sweet and sour, sweet curry or Ketchup. Then drinks wise, it's adding flavoured milk, available in chocolate, strawberry and banana. And finally there's a new Calippo-style ice lolly, the McFreezy - a frozen ice dessert made with fruit juice and puree, available in either orange or mango and pineapple flavour.
Happy Meals are available for around £3.59, depending on area. The new items will also be available to buy on the main menu, costing £1.39 for the Mayo Chicken, £1.69 for flavoured milk and £1.59 for a McFreezy. You'll be able to get a larger nine-piece Fish Bites for £5.79.
