Max Verstappen revealed Red Bull “never really talk about” their budget cap penalty. F1

Max Verstappen has said Red Bull “never really talk about” their budget cap penalty and how it may impact their season, instead wanting to focus on developing the best car possible for 2023.

In theory, this will mean there is less scope for Red Bull to develop the RB19 as the season progresses – with the team being forced to pick and choose when they want to use their allocated wind tunnel runs even more carefully as a result of the penalty.

Definitely… why should they? They cheated and cost them nothing 😡

Because it probably won’t have any impact.

Of course they don’t talk about it. They got away with an illegitimate title in 2021, so why would they being up anything that might bring attention to it?

Oh… this is going to trigger a certain fanbase 😂

Why would they talk about it within the team? That’s the accountants job. Probably best they focus on the jobs they are paid to do.

Because it wasnt harsh enough. They were allowed to keep the illegitimate gains of their cheating. As long as that is allowed to stand, the penalty wasn't nearly harsh enough.

Warra real news

Warra journalism

Poor journalism

Makes sense, most people/companies don't talk openly about cheating.

Peter Windsor: 'Petulant Max Verstappen needs to show more dignity as Champion'Former Ferrari and Williams team manager Peter Windsor feels Max Verstappen's 'petulant' rant after his virtual Le Mans technical woes was not very fitting of a multi-time F1 champ. Horner admits Red Bull’s real F1 RB19 will be ‘somewhat different’🗣 'What you’ve seen today obviously isn’t a total reflection of what will hit the track in Bahrain' Christian Horner admits today's RedBullRacing F1 launch in NYC was just for show 👇 what the hell even is the point of these things then especially when your livery is completely unchanged other than a few stickers maybe moving spots What is the point of an event that shows an essentially dumbed down car with a 5 year old paint job. Redbull are both an extremely creative and terribly dull team. It’s a livery reveal, no longer a actual car that will even hit the track in testing. It ees what it ees.
