Following Matthew Perry 's heartbreaking death on 28 October last year at age 54, police have opened up an investigation to find out how the actor obtained the drugs that were found in his system. The acute effects of ketamine was found as his main cause of death, with it being ruled an accident.
They added: “Like the rest of the cast, Jen and Courteney have said they’ll do anything they can to help the task force find who was supplying him with such dangerous quantities of a potentially lethal drug.” When the interviewer goes on to question Courteney's spirituality, the actress told of her strong feeling that deceased family and friends reappear to guide her through life.
