As the world continues to mourn the loss of actor Matthew Perry, his loved ones were given a small glimmer of closure on Friday 3 November, when the star was finally laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery.
In total, there are five Forest Lawn cemeteries in the Los Angeles area, with the first founded by Hubert Eaton back in 1906 featuring a large flat, open-plan layout which was soon copied by various cemeteries across the entirety of the United States. By contrast, the Hollywood Hills branch of the cemetery chain, often attracts a younger and edgier crowd, with celebrities such as Paul Walker, Aaron Carter and David Carradine among the notable names interred there.
The service ended with a rendition of Peter Gabriel's song 'Don't Give Up' which reportedly left everyone in tears as they remembered their beloved friend.
