There has been a 44 per cent rise in the number of people waiting for key tests to diagnose a raft of cancers because of delays associated with the coronavirus lockdown

Desperate patients face a massive wait for key tests to diagnose bowel, stomach, bladder and oesophageal cancer, a charity has warned.
