Massive 90s return to studio with lead singer looking exact same

The Cosmic Girl hitmakers haven't been in the studio for more than seven years, but now the group, fronted by singer, Jay Kay, are ready to top the charts once again reports the Mirror. Sharing a clip of the band on TikTok, the multi-millionaire confirmed to fans a follow-up to 2017's Automaton is in the works.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, he said: “It is with great sorrow that I hear the sad news of Derrick McIntyre’s passing. He was a joy to work with and a superbly talented musician. My thoughts are with his family, friends and fellow musicians who worked with him. Thinking of you at the great gig in the sky Derrick. J.”

While they have not released any new music in recent years, the Canned Heat stars have performed at a string of gigs, most recently playing Harvest Rock festival in Adelaide, Australia, in October with a set featuring all the classics, including Love Foolosphy and Virtual Insanity. Prior to that there were shows in France, Portsmouth and Bahrain.
