Firms should be made to disclose exposure to global heating, report says

The increasing number of natural disasters over the past 50 years has been generally ignored by equity markets and tougher rules are needed to make investors aware of the dangers posed by the climate crisis, the International Monetary Fund has warned.

Er, because markets and CEO's (and especially their bonuses) are driven only by quarterly analysts' calls and results against said analysts' expectations and the impact on share price movement. A quarter is just three months. Beyond that....

What 'markets'? There is no price discovery anymore - just currency printing to infinity (which is the only thing keeping stocks high while the 0.001% sell off asap before the real crash).
