Manchester United supporters have become fatigued by the constant waiting for progress on the takeover.
As the owners continue to mull over the offers, United remain in limbo and all, including those bidding to buy the club, are unaware if the Glazers are actually open to selling. MEN Sport understands Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is doubtful regarding the American family's intentions and it is likely Sir Jim Ratcliffe feels the same.
Takeover 'matter of weeks away' According to The Sun, internal discussions among the Glazers have led to them realising the need to sell the club. It is understood figures at United are hopeful the owners will sell up to Sheikh Jassim in a £6bn deal. The Qatari banker has proposed a bid which would see the Glazers leave the club. Sheikh Jassim has reportedly completed his due diligence and an official announcement could be a matter of weeks away.
