The streets of Manchester have been transformed into New York City as a Spider-Man spin-off is filmed in part of the city.

Hollywood star Jared Leto, who plays the film's title character, has been spotted on the set of Manchester's makeshift Big Apple.British actor Matt Smith will play Morbius' friend Loxias Crown in the production, which is due to be released in July 2020. Hundreds of people reportedly gathered to watch the Marvel production being filmed around Dale Street and Port Street.
