Rescuers and the coastguard helicopter were sent to the scene

The incident occurred while he was walking with his two brothers on Bank Holiday Monday. He slipped and fell from the Y-Gully section of the 3,000ft mountain.

The Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Service reported that his brothers immediately dialled 999.
