Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo has joined Manchester City duo Phil Foden and Erling Haaland on an eight-man shortlist for the Premier League 's Young Player of the Year award.
In total, the England international has made 21 Premier League appearances this season, scoring two goals. He has scored 16 goals and registered eight assists in 32 appearances, including two hat-tricks.
Elsewhere, Haaland, who won both the Premier League Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards last season, has scored 25 goals and registered five assists in just 28 league appearances this term. He scored four times in last Saturday's 5-1 win over Wolves to establish himself as the firm favourite for a second consecutive Golden Boot.
