A JILTED husband has successfully sued his ex-wife's new lover for $750, 000 thanks to an old "homewrecker law."

It allows the spouse to sue another person for "purposefully interfering with the marital relationship,"In the same way that a man could sue for the theft of a horse, he could sue for the theft of a wife. Now, any spouse can sue regardless of their gender or their partner.Allows a person to bring action against a third-party alleged to be respinsible for the breakdown of their marriage

Not necessary to show the person set out to destroy the relationship, only that they intentionally engages in acts which would impact the marriageHoward took the decision after attending marriage counselling with his ex-wife and realising that something wasn't quite right.
