Man stabbed at Manchester Victoria station

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed at Victoria station in Manchester city centre last night.

The incident happened around 9.15pm and two people have been arrested. British Transport Police said they aren't looking for anyone else in connection with the attack. The victim's condition is not thought to be life-threatening, and it's believed that those involved knew each other. BTP are asking for witnesses to come forward and shared: "British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault at Manchester Victoria on Friday 29 March.

"Officers attended the station at 9.15pm following reports of a man being stabbed. ", reports the Manchester Evening News."His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Those involved are believed to be known to each other." "Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 770 of 29 March.
