A man has been rushed to hospital after a serious assault on a Scots street left him 'covered in blood'.
Officers from Police Scotland locked down Lansbury Street in Greenock earlier this afternoon after the man was found injured. Emergency services raced to the scene at around 2.45pm in the Gibshill area of the town. Police have sealed off the road as they launch a probe into the assault.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.45pm on Friday, 31 May, 2024, police were called to a report of a man found injured after being assaulted in Lansbury Street, Greenock.
