Emergency crews were scrambled to the incident near Fettercairn this afternoon

Cops were scrambled to Cairn O’Mount Road near Fettercairn and quickly locked down the scene, with drivers urged to stay away from the area.

The B974 remains closed in both directions as the force launches their investigations into the man's shock death.While footage shows the air ambulance also attending the incident. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance following the sudden death of a man in the Cairn O’Mount Road area of Fettercairn. “The B974 remains closed in both directions between Fettercairn and Cairn O’Mount and the public are asked to avoid the area at this time.”
