A man has died following a medical incident at Download Festival over the weekend.
The man became unwell after the Deftones performance at the Castle Donington music festival, but police have since confirmed that the festival-goer – whose identity has not been made public – has died. However, the exact circumstances are not known and a police investigation into the situation is underway.
Leicestershire Police also issued a statement, confirming that they are looking into the man’s death since it is being treated as ‘unexplained.’
