Police and ambulance teams were spotted on Sauchiehall Street at around 6pm yesterday evening.Officers appeared to have set up a cordon with the connecting junction to Garnet Street.Police have now confirmed that a man, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police were called around 5.50pm following the report that a man had fallen from scaffolding on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow."There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
