Manchester City's Premier League trip to Chelsea has been moved back a day to Sunday November 12. City had been due to travel to Stamford Bridge on the Saturday, but the eagerly-anticipated clash with Mauricio Pochettino's side will now take place 24 hours later and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The home fixture with Bournemouth a week earlier has not been selected for TV coverage, so will take place on Saturday November 4 at 3pm. The Chelsea game will take place at 4.30pm on the Sunday, giving City an extra day to prepare for the game having faced Young Boys at home in the Champions League on Tuesday November 7.
Chelsea only have one more day of rest ahead of the City clash, with their trip to Tottenham being played on the Monday night before the game. After the Chelsea game, City players will depart for the November international break, before the Premier League campaign resumes a fortnight later at home to Liverpool, and then at home to Spurs - either side of the Champions League visit of RB Leipzig.
City will be reunited with Cole Palmer at Stamford Bridge, with the winger leaving the Etihad on deadline day to join Chelsea for £42.5m in search of more regular football. This article contains affiliate links, we will receive a commission on any sales we generate from it.
