Manchester City have been credited with interested in signing Ajax ace Gabriel Misehouy.

That is according to a report by Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, as cited by Soccer News, which claims City, who face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, are keen on signing the 18-year-old. The Blues are constantly on the hunt for fresh talent and, as a result, have been alerted to Misehouy's situation in the Netherlands.

It is claimed the City Football Group have made their interest in Misehouy 'known' to Ajax. Currently on the books of the club's second team, commonly known as Jong Ajax, the youngster has enjoyed an impressive start to this season, scoring five goals in his first eight appearances, as well as chipping in with two assists.

Meanwhile, Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid are said to have been 'offered the chance' to sign City midfielder Kalvin Phillips. That is according to a report by Defensa Central, which claims intermediaries have 'contacted' Madrid to see if they would be interested in signing the England international.
