Man City could net £20m transfer windfall just 24 hours after FA Cup final

If Manchester City win the FA Cup final on Saturday against Manchester United, they will take their tournament prize money for the season to a handy £3.9million.

When City leave Wembley, the stadium will quickly reset for Sunday's Championship play-off final - a game which could see City secure a guaranteed £20m transfer boost if the result goes one way.ALSO READ: Man City get twist in Pep Guardiola succession plan with Vincent Kompany agreement If Southampton were to win on Sunday, it would see a second-successive promotion for City centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who was part of the Burnley side who went up automatically last season. Harwood-Bellis wanted to play in the Premier League this season, but no offers came in over the summer, so he spent the year on loan at Southampton.

"I felt like I was ready to go and play in the Premier League in the summer, but the opportunity wasn't there," he said of his options last summer, adding that he hopes to remain at St Mary's next season in the Premier League.
