A man has been charged after eggs were thrown at King Charles on a Royal tour.
Patrick Thelwell, 23, has been accused of ‘threatening behaviour’ after the incident during a walkabout in York on November 9. He was being led through the northern city when a number of eggs were thrown at the King with one landing on his lapel.
