He was wanted to stand trial for aggravated murder and two offences of aggravated robbery

Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s International Policing Unit, working in partnership with Romanian authorities have extradited the 35-year-old man on Tuesday following the completion of proceedings.

Sergeant Davey from the PSNI ’s International Policing Unit said: “The Police Service of Northern Ireland continues to work with our international partners to identify and arrest those wanted in other jurisdictions. “If fugitives travel to Northern Ireland to avoid the consequences of their crimes it is only a matter of time before they are arrested and brought before the extradition courts.
