North Yorkshire Police say they were discovered at an address in the market town of Pateley Bridge near Ripon on Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement, a spokesperson said:"Police were called to a property near Pateley Bridge shortly after 1.30pm on 30 December 2020, following a report from a concerned member of the public. "Officers attended the scene at Blazefield and upon arrival sadly found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the property."Enquiries are being conducted and specially trained officers remain working at the scene, in order to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
