Here we go again!

Jennifer Saunders has revealed she will spoof the Mamma Mia! sequel, Here We Go Again, for Comic Relief.

The 60-year-old actress and comedian parodied the first ABBA musical film with comedy partner Dawn French for the BBC charity drive 10 years ago, and has now decided to make the follow up following the release of the movie’s sequel last year. Titled Mamma Mia! Here We Go Yet Again!, the sketch will see Jennifer play Donna, the character played by Meryl Streep in the movies, and she has pulled together a whole host of famous faces to take on the one-off special, which is set to air on BBC One on 15 March.

Alan Carr will reprise his role of Colin Firth’s Harry, and Philip Glenister as Pierce Brosnan’s Sam, and the spoof will see the cast recreate some of the most iconic moments from the film – and even try to tackle some tracks from Swedish band ABBA, whose songs form the base of the musical.‘If I could have lived on the fake Mamma Mia set for the past year, I would have been very happy. This is one of the silliest things I’ve done.

Comic Relief defend Stacey Dooley over ‘white saviour’ backlashComic Relief stand by Stacey Dooley over ‘white saviour’ backlash: ‘We’re really grateful to her’ aid was never design to lift anyone out of poverty, design to maintain poverty. It creates a cycle of dependency and control while you extract a countries wealth resources. Then you use the media to control the narrative that you are benevolent, NO you are bloodsucking parasites Great news. DavidLammy is a divisive, opportunist, xenophobic, racist who promotes false history to project his underlying bitterness and hatred. We need to stop seeing colour and start seeing humans.
