MAFS star reveals weird rules they have to abide by on the show including rings

A groom from Married At First Sight has revealed some behind-the-camera secrets that contestants have to abide by.

This is to leave the audience guessing as to whether couples stayed together through the show - making viewers speculate about the show. Another big rule is that contestants aren't allowed to follow each other on social media - however, Luke says the rule was bent in this year's series. A final rule he has shared is that couples aren't allowed to be seen with each other in public until after the series has been broadcast.

"The couple’s exit plays out in the show. It was agreed alongside experts Paul, Mel and Charlene that the intensive Married at First Sight environment was not working for the couple and it was the right time to leave the experiment,” it read.
