Lots of hearts taught myself via Mardur Jaffery books here in Australia

Here is my very tatty copy of Indian Cookery. I have used 95% of the recipes, a lot of them regularly. I can't say that about any other recipe book that I own. Madhur Jaffrey has been with me for more than half of my life and I'm very grateful.

Germany electric car and 60% US states marginal emissions = 550g CO2/kWh 550 x 0.2 kWh x km = 110g CO2. petrol car = 120g CO2. battery = +5tons CO2. another battery after 10-12 years: +5t CO2 does this really help to reduce CO2?

Here's mine from the 80's. I've not used it in about twenty years but there's a shopping list between the pages and I'll take that as a sign 😊

Has she died?

My copy covered in that lucious deep yellow turmeric-color, pages dog eared and random greasy index cards sticking out from random pages.....sunday memories. Yum
