There is an easy fix for 'lunch shaming.' We have publicly funded education. Lunch and sometimes breakfast occur during the school day. Include them for all students as part of the school budget. End of issue.
How is this shaming? I racked up debt early in my life and had to miss out on things. Seems like a pretty practical thing to do.
