Newcomers Mal and Montel were allowed to make their picks first, with her choosing Sammy. As for Montel, he messed with Mehdi's plans as he chose to pursue Leah. That left Whitney with a difficult decision to make. She ultimately chose to give Mehdi another chance, despite being disappointed in him. Molly and Zach remained coupled up, as did Ella and Tyrique and Catherine and Scott. As for Jess, she picked Mitchel, hoping their friendship and attraction to each other could blossom into something more over the coming days.
