Louis Walsh, the music manager and X Factor judge, is back on our TV screens in ITV's Celebrity Big Brother. But what do we know about Louis when he's not on TV?Louis was born as Michael Vincent Walsh in 1952 in Kiltimagh, Co Mayo, Ireland. He was one of eight children to Maureen and Frank Walsh.
The 71 years old first worked with rock bands but didn't earn much. Then he saw Take That and decided to make an Irish version of the band, reports the Irish Mirror.He put an ad in the paper and formed Boyzone. They were a big hit with lots of number one songs and albums.Louis is known for saying what he thinks, and he did just that after splitting with Ronan Keating. After leaving the show, Louis worked as a judge on Ireland's Got Talent for two years before he reappeared in 2019 as a mentor for winner Megan McKenna on the newly set-up The X Factor: Celebrity. Currently, he is aiming for success with the boy band Next In Line.Louis, who boasts a net worth estimated at £116 million, now resides in his homeland - Ireland.
