ITV remembered Dame Deborah with a special interview with her loved ones

Nearly six months on from the tragic passing of Bowelbabe Deborah James, ITV remembered the activist with a special interview with her loved ones.

Wiping away the tears as she spoke about Bowelbabe's campaign for earlier diagnosis, Lorraine told Deborah’s family: “ The amount she achieved was astonishing.Lorraine also struggled with her emotions as she described the moment she saw someone on holiday wearing Deborah's iconic 'Rebellious Hope' t-shirt, which have been sold to fundraise for various charities.Deborah's mum nodded and added: “You think, ‘They’ve got that rebellious hope as well’. They’re supporting it.

Lorraine was also joined by Dr Hilary Jones, who had campaigned alongside Deborah as part of the show’s No Butts campaign, to raise much-needed awarness of the disease.
