Loose Women has been flooded with complaints after Janet Street-Porter took aim at Prince William and said the Lionesses should get a bank holiday for their efforts.
Show host Ruth Langsford agreed with Janet and said she was also "disappointed he wasn't there". Shortly after, Janet, 76, said there should be a bank holiday in honour of the Lionesses' achievement. However, while many football fans were proud of the team's efforts, they didn't agree with Janet's statement regarding a bank holiday to honour the team. Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the outspoken presenter's comments.
Another penned: "Ah shut up Janet - William wasn't there because Australia haven't yet invited King Charles and protocol dictates William can't go before him - AND Australia's public would've had to foot his security bill #LooseWomen."
